How do you make a tail on Spore creatures?

When you are making a Spore creature, how are you supposed to make a tail (dog tail, cat, etc.) that actually looks like a tail?How do you make a tail on Spore creatures?
Its hard to explain but it helps if you have a mouse. Click on the body that has a spine in it. It has arrows pointing in 2 directions so click and drag until you have a good length (it is limited though and does fill your complexity meter) As I said you need a mouse to re-size a bone section (make it skinny or fat in certain sections) Use the scroll thingy in the middle near where you click and scroll up or down to adjust, it will change the size and do this to all of them to get a good sized possible skinny tail.



If you want hair you mean then you need to experiment with the painting section.
